My site has come a long way since January 2001. It used to be a place for a little philosophy, but nowadays my journal [side menu] gets most of my attention. Teaching English in foreign countries stimulates me to write about my insights, experiences and cultural observations. I will now comment mainly on the current structure of my website.
To the left, you should see my site menu (click the refresh button on your browser if you don't). You have probably come from my homepage. The thumb-tags at the top provide quick synopses about my main pages upon mouse-over. I started my journal because I wanted to write about my experiences in China - something I couldn't do when I was there because of China's Internet policies. Although this is laid out chronologically (like most journals, but unlike 'blogs'), my menu lists from most-to-least-recently the countries I've lived in. Go to China to start at the beginning of my journal, or click on Latest Entry to read recent updates, etc. My Bio covers my lifestory from before China, and my Album contains some of my favourite photos to date. For something different, see my Plus page.
